I didn't see any posting or discussion of this, so I thought I would post it. An article about bike lanes in Williamson County. Officials blame cost and lack of demand for current state of bicycle facilities (sub-par?). It includes cost estimates ($) for adding wide sidewalks and granite multi-use paths.

Maybe if they had more bike lanes, they'd see a stronger turnout for their annual Outlaw 100 in October.
