Austin neighborhood opposes speed bumps

One neighbor says the City should just “trust” that residents would voluntarily start driving slower.  The same neighbors who don’t want to be inconvenienced by speed bumps.

The journalist seems confused over whether the plan involves speed cushions vs. speed bumps--maybe underqualified to write about traffic issues?
