Auto passenger dies after killing bicyclist (Vegas, 10/25)

Here's a new one:  The passenger of a minivan was sticking his body out the passenger window to shove pedestrians and bicyclists.  He pushed a mid-50s woman bicyclist, who fell to the ground and died.  At the same time, the attacker fell out of the vehicle and skidded into a light pole, where he hit his head and died.  The driver of the minivan fled and hasn't been found.

So there was some instant karma, but it didn't come soon enough to save the life of the bicyclist.

I've biked on that road (Sahara Ave.) countless times, but never as far east as the attack occurred.

Bike Lives Matter.

That poor woman.

I appreciate the karma, and how having the murderer's body will probably help the police find and charge his accomplice, but ... still, that poor woman.

the cynic in me points out that it is highly likely there is a video of it on the driver's phone.  terrible story.

Police found the driver and charged him with murder.  I would normally identify him as a suspect, but he confessed.
