Bicycle commuting is getting more popular

I wondered, is bicycle commuting getting more popular?  So I looked it up, and it is.  A 2014 Census report says bike commuting is up a whopping 60% over the last decade.

Then again, I'm reminded of the immortal words from Curly of the Three Stooges:  "Two times nuthin' is nuthin!"  That means this massive 60% increase means that a mere 0.6% of all commuters get to work by bike.  At this rate, in another thirty years, which will be past my life expectancy, the percentage of bike commuters won't reach even 2.5%.
