Ride of Silence - Far North Austin

I have organized a Ride of Silence in far north Austin for anyone interested in participating, but not willing to travel to the downtown ride.

When: Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7:00 PM

Where:  On all 7 continents, but locally there will be two rides in Austin this year; the original downtown starting from the Pfluger Bridge, and now also a ride in North Austin starting from 14721 Bratton Lane in Wells Branch (look for the Speedy Stop or the Garbos).

What: The Ride of Silence will traverse and unite the globe as nothing before it. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.

Why: Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn't aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.

Who: You.  Join us for a slow placed family friendly 8-mile ride.
