Hit & Run vs pedicab on S Congress 3/15, serious injuries

One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle hit a pedicab in south Austin Wednesday night.

The crash happened on South Congress Avenue near Barton Springs Road around 10:40 p.m.

Austin police said the driver did not stay after the crash.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said one person was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with serious injuries, adding another person was treated at the scene.
