That tall bike seemed incredibly dangerous. Not only is it a long way to the ground if you fall, but there's no guarantee where you'd fall. The bike could fall into a car, you could fall into traffic, etc.

Yeah, the tall bike kind of hurt to watch. But the guy at 1:00 minute was taking safety pretty seriously. It's important to protect the head when you stoop down closer to the ground. Also, wearing lycra on a trip that far saves on chafing! Very good stuff.
