Cycling is 14 times more dangerous than driving
Streets.mn offers this graph, which suggests that cycling is 14x more dangerous than driving:
That's not far off from the 3x to 10x range I came up with on Bicycle Universe.
Sadly, they also show how much more dangerous transportation is in the U.S. compared to Europe:
