Car hits man+infant on bicycle (11/22/14, St. Elmo Rd.)

A man was bicycling with his infant in a front-mounted child seat when struck from behind by a car at 8:24am.  They were taken to the hospital with critical and serious injuries.  The driver was arrested, not for hitting the man and the baby on the bike, but because he was driving a car he wasn't authorized to drive.

I was thinking "wow, the comments are a bit out there, but not too bad" ... and then I got to the KXAN article, reminding me what a cesspool their comments are.

Sigh.
