Details are still being worked out, but we have a bike from Bicycle Sport Shop. A big thank you to them!
We'll also be working with Please BE KIND to Cyclists to help us get Morgan's bike prepped and ready. They've prepped a number of other Ghost Bikes in the past and there's some protocol we need to follow so TXDOT doesn't remove it. Glad to have their help.
We're working on a place to meet that day and will ride from there (it shouldn't be too long of a ride though, 2-3 miles). Thanks for all of your help! And please invite others not included here that want to participate!
...
Ok everyone. Here is the meeting place and ride destination for Morgans Ghostbike ride and memorial. The ride will begin at 11am on the 20th, so if you need prep time, get there earlier. It's a 1.6 mile ride to the destination, so plan accordingly. Some may continue on a full ride after and many will return. See you all there.

(I suggest checking the Facebook event for updates before going.)

Thanks for your care and help coordinating the memorial ride, Doug.

I'm not really coordinating anything -- I'm just making people aware of it. I should be there taking pictures, however.
There seems to be a lot of people coordinating things, in particular "Be Kind to Cyclists" and the Bicycle Sport Shop donated a bike.
I didn't know Morgan, but even so ... these things hit pretty close to home.
