Forward pedal technology strategically places the crank several inches ahead of the usual placement, which allows you to place your feet safely on the ground while maintaining the proper leg extension. Fully adjustable stem, aluminum handle bar and alloy suspension seat. Virtually maintenance free front and rear disc brakes that. High gloss black cherry. Love the bike, but a little too large for my 5' height. Only ridden a few times.

I would check Craigslist for a quality used bike, but you need to know what you are looking for and looking at......

Not sure what part of town you are in, but if you are new to cycling I would suggest a trip to your Local Bike Store, preferably small and local.

North Central:  Clown Dog, Free Wheeling, Ozone
South: BikeAlot
East: Eastside Peddler

etc.......

That way you get a proper fit on a machine that suits your purposes. Of course you need helmet, lock, and lights, at minimum, on any bike which you use to commute.
