Full Beaver Moon Ride 2012-11-27 11:59pm Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge

Looking skyward, I see that our beloved mistress is half full and waxing -- so it must be about a week away from the best ride of the month!

Looks like the next Full Moon Cruise will be next Tuesday evening, November 27 2012 at 11:59pm CST at the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge! (Wheels down at about 12:30am, so don't be later than that.)

This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon.

Now, it's the time that we ride!

As always, ride at your own risk, having lights on your bike at night is a good idea and it's always prudent to have at least enough equipment to change a flat.
