Handlebar Bags

Does anyone have suggestions on handlebar bags?  I have a Felt Racing 85 bike and already have a headlight and bike computer mounted.  I'm concerned about my handlebars getting too crowded.  Does anyone have an opinion on the Topeak TourGuide Handle Bar Bag DX?

Thanks,
John

If you need more space on your handlebars, here's an option --

I've got one, though I'm not using it right now.  It works pretty well.

Re: Handlebar Bags

I have an Ortlieb Ultimate 5 handlebar bag, which I love. Very spacious without being too big. I also have a computer and headlight on my bars and I still have plenty of room. I haven't tried other bags except the Gilles Berthoud bag, which didn't work at all for me. I've been caught in major downpours and the Ortlieb has always kept everything dry. Plus it's easy and fast to take on and off. Here's a link:

I can vouch for the bar extender above, I have one and it works well especially for mounting a headlamp above the handle bar bag.  Get the tallest one that they offer.  I use Ortlieb rear panniers and any luggage they make is stellar.

Re: Handlebar Bags

Thanks all for the advice.  I've settled on the Topeak bag.  If I need the extender I'll go pick one up.  I can live without my headlight for a few more weeks (months?) if push comes to shove.  :-)

I'll report how it works out.
