First pedestrian fatality in Capital Metro's history

The driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian, a Class C misdemeanor, Austin police spokeswoman Veneza Aguinaga said....

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call vehicular homicide detectives at 974-8164.
