Very Rare! Take this bike to any LBS and just hear the compliments role. This is the coveted 1993 model, the LAST American Tommasini frame to be used by Quattro Assi before switching to a different overseas based supplier. The brand Quattro Assi was exclusively imported from Italy by WM Lewis Imports in Driftwood, TX. From last year, they closed up shop. . .making these bikes that much rarer. I am the third owner of this classic road racing bike. Why buy a low end new bike when you can have a high end classic? Still extremely fast, have used it in a few races where it kept up with much newer aluminum and carbon bikes. Just tuned up, needs nothing. Does show a few scratches here and there. Has about 3800 miles total (low for its age). Here are the specs:
56cm Columbus TSX CrMo Frame (people are selling these frames for over 400 alone)
Columbus Foderi Lamnati threaded 1" fork with Quattro Assi embroidery
Italmanubri ITM bars/headset wrapped in new Bontrager red cork
Shimano 600 8 speed STI shifters ST-6400
Shimano 8-speed Cassette - CS-HG50 (will also unclude the original Shimano 600 cassette for racing)
Shimano 600 Tri Color rear derailleur, front derailor cranks and brakes (with new pads)
Mavic Open 4cd clincher rims (worth $200 alone, lighter than the wheels on my much newer Cannondale R600)
NEW 700x23 tires
Felt carbon fiber seatpost with a lightweight red saddle
Look Keo clipless pedals (will also include flats)
Cateye wireless computer
2 Specialized water bottle cages
$575
