Austin Google Map Maker Event, Thursday November 17th, 12:00pm-2:00pm

Hi there Austin bicyclists!

I am on the Google Map Maker Community Team. Map Maker (http://mapmaker.google.com) is an application that allows Google users to edit Google Maps including business listings, parks and even the biking information for streets and paths. We wanted to invite you to an upcoming Map Maker event.

We are having a Map Maker workshop at the Austin Google campus for public sector and nonprofit group members from the Austin area that would be interested in learning how to update the map. The event is going to be held Thursday, November 17 at the Google Building in Austin at 9606 North Mopac Expressway, Suite 700 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm.

Come learn about making updates and edits to the map of your community and have some delicious lunch.

For more information about the event and a link to the registration page please visit j.mp/austinmapup.

I hope that you can make it to this event and learn more about map maker.

Hey Andrew,
This seems like an interesting event. Do you have any route advice for riding to your office from UT or downtown?
