Cellphones more dangerous than drunk driving

Some findings which might be surprising:

* Talking on a cellphone is just as dangerous as drunk driving
* Texting is _more_ dangerous than drunk driving
* Hands-free phones aren't any better, because the problem with phones isn't that they tie up your hands, it's that they tie up your _mind_

But even though cellphone-driving is just as dangerous as drunk driving, it's not illegal everywhere, and where it is illegal, the fines aren't nearly as steep as they are for driving drunk.

Here's my page on the topic so far:  http://BicycleUniverse.info/cars/cellphones.html
