Eastside Home Bike Tour this Sunday

Just a quick reminder that our second social ride, the Eastside Home Tour (http://livingontwowheels.org/eastsidehometour.html) is this Sunday morning. We are partnering on this ride with Holly neighborhood and Buy By Bike realtor Tiffany Russell to show off this affordable, livable neighborhood just minutes from downtown. Stops will include restored original homes as well as more recent green additions and condos. A food stop will be provided by the Shuck Shack with stops at some additional neighborhood businesses and a brief presentation from Austin CarShare. We'll end up back at Hope Market once the market is open for a selection of organic fruits and vegetables and locally made products. Total ride distance will be approximately 5 miles.

All food & drink, bike valet, and guides included in registration as well as a coupon book to series partner businesses. We'll be drawing to giveaway an Electra Amsterdam Royal 8 bike at the end of the series. Dutch city bikes available for rental on tour on the reservations page.

DATE: Sunday, June 13, 2010

TIME: Meet up at 8:30 AM, Leave at 9:00 AM (please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure for check-in). Ride will wrap up by approximately Noon.

LOCATION: Hope Market, 414 Waller Street

COST: Online registration at http://livingontwowheels.org/eastsidehometour.htm before ride day $20/person, Ride day cash only registration $25. Bring a friend and save $5! 2 persons registration: $35, Ride day cash registration $45. (Ride is limit to 30 riders.)

In the second round of this popular ride, take in more of the best locally made food our town has to offer. Stops will include great burgers samplers at Your Mom's Burgers, Latin American cuisine at El Sol y La Luna, and dessert at Tart Frozen Yogurt.
