Rise Across Texas Challenge- Celebrity Ride: Wednesday, March 10

Support the Rise School and make a difference!

Bicyclists of all kinds can join VIPs including Governor Rick Perry and six-time Tour de France rider and U.S. National Champion Kevin Livingston in the Rise Across Texas Challenge Celebrity Bike Ride. The Celebrity Ride will set off from the site of the Rise School in southwest Austin and wind about 16 miles through scenic Hill Country roads to the Salt Lick restaurant in Driftwood. The Celebrity Ride is a non-competitive, paced ride that will be accompanied by police escorts. Participation is open to the public.

Oh I love this. We could raise money for a good cause while still wearing T-shirts with something blasting him. Too bad it's after the primary, although he could be in a runoff at that point.

Any slogan suggestions? ... Maybe: "Get on Down the Road...I won't Ride with the Guv"

I really hope that knowing that Perry is in it, nobody decides to participate riding an SUV
