New India Restaurant gives $1 off to cyclists and walkers

From their website:

New India Cuisine is a green business. Ride your bicycle or walk here rather than drive, and we'll give you a dollar off your order. "That's my way of trying to save Planet Earth," says owner. "I am trying by best, that's all I can do. We have to fix the global warming problem."

Wow.  I wonder if we could get an army of other businesses to do something similar?  Lots of businesses are giving discounts to *anybody* through the Go Local campaign, so giving discounts to only cyclists (and maybe walkers) isn't so far-fetched.  (Okay, with Go Local you have to buy the $10 card, but still...)

I do too Bluejay!  Thanks for posting this.  I am a lot more likely to try this place out because of catering to sustainable practices.  We need a green directory.  I wonder if this is something Brandi Clarke would be in to.
