Just a heads up that the 3rd annual Texas Custom Bicycle Show will be this weekend, Oct 16-17, in Austin. The North American Handmade Bicycle Show is coming to Austin Feb 25-27 so this should be a nice preview of local framebuilders. The TCBS is free to the public.
This year the show is 2 days.
Day 1 of the show, Saturday, October 16, will be 10 AM- 4 PM at the Austin Music Hall, 208 Nueces Street with framebuilder roundtable Q&As at 11 AM and 1 PM. Session #1 at 11 AM will be with Tim Massengill from Massengill Frames, Jeremy Shlachter of Gallus Cycles and Cody Baron of True Fabrication. Session # 2 at 1 PM will be with James Flatman of Alchemy Bicycle Company, Brad Cason of Kirklee, and Dimitri Harris of MEECH.
Day 2 of the show, Sunday, October 17, will be 9 AM- 3 PM at Pure Austin- Quarry Lake, 4210 West Braker Lane. In addition to the exhibitors, there will be a cyclocross race on Sunday. More on the race here.

If you are planning on going to the show on Saturday and don't want to go alone, Social Cycling Austin is hosting a social bike ride at 10 AM at the Plfuger Bridge. Bike valet will be provided at the show by Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop. All levels welcome.
