Waller Creek Meeting Tonight

Waller Creek Citizen Advisory Committee to host Town Hall Meeting

For immediate release
March 24, 2010

Austin residents are invited to attend a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday April 7, 2010, hosted by the Waller Creek Citizen Advisory Committee.

The Consultant, ROMA Design Group, is putting the finishing touches on a draft master plan for the Waller Creek District. During the meeting, ROMA will present the plan to the public, receive comments, and answer questions. Public input gathered will be used to further refine the draft Master Plan before it is taken to the Planning Commission and to Austin City Council for approval. The meeting is the final step in a series of public outreach efforts that the City has conducted over the last year. The meeting will be:

Wednesday April 7, 2010
6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Mexican American Cultural Center
600 River St.

Light refreshments will be served. The Mexican American Cultural Center has free car and bicycle parking. In addition on-street parking is available on a first come first served basis.
