Bike Emory, and The Orange Bike Project

I'd like to see UT institute a bike program similar to what Emory has done, Ripon, etc.  Anyone associated with the campus feel like working with the school administration and then sending out some letters?

Here is my write-up on it.

If someone were to take this up and wants any help, I'll help in any way I can. Needless to say, I think a program like this could be a tremendous boon for cycling in Austin.

Re: Bike Emory, and The Orange Bike Project

Sounds like a good partnership.  (Fuji University)

I'm co-chair of UT's Orange Bike Project.  We're a relatively new student organization, but with a lot of momentum.

I'll add this to my to-do list, but if there is a UT student that wants to help coordinate this, that would be best.  Others can probably be a part of this, too.

There is also a bike coordinator on staff as part of UT's Parking and Transportation Services (PTS), Sam Cortez

Thanks Tom,

I emailed Sam, and copied you. Hopefully we can get something going.
