Austin no longer bike-friendly according to LAB?!

The League of American Bicyclists released their Bicycle-Friendly Communities awards today, and if I'm reading it right, Austin has dropped off the list, but it's rather ambiguous, so I can't be sure.

Here's the new Fall 2017 list.  Austin isn't on it, even though many of the cities that *are* on it are listed as "Renewed", which suggests that if your city kept its award, it should indeed be listed.

Here's the list of all cities that ever got an award.  Austin is listed on this one, at the Gold level (above Silver, and under Platinum).  The "Movement" column is blank, even though other cities are marked "Renewed".

Now, I guess LAB might say that "non-renewed" is not the same thing as "dropped", but still, doesn't look good for Austin's friendliness status as rated by LAB.  Of course, as I always say, Austin's reputation as a bike-friendly city is far from deserved.

I don't know all the ins and outs of the league's BFC program, but per the website "BFC awards are recognized for 4 years. BFCs that last received an award in Spring 2014 must apply by the deadline above [which is noted as 2-13-18]."  http://bikeleague.org/community

On the BFC program itself in broader terms:  https://web.archive.org/web/20160120132 … g/BFC.html

Well, I guess that explains it.  Austin got its award in 2015, so it's good until 2019.  But pretty poor explanation of that by LAB.  They really make you go hunting for clues.
