bike crashes map

Made this at work the other day using TxDOT CRIS data. Next is a version with 2011 to 2013 bike crashes by individual counties along with pedestrian versions.

Re: bike crashes map

Very interesting; thanks for posting.
Do you have data on crash locations/causes to go along with it.  At that resolution, I can't tell where a given dot is located (what street, what block).  Or, and I wouldn't be surprised, is there a way to zoom in that I can't figure out without coaching?

I think the cause may be found in the 'charges' table which can be joined to the main 'crash' table. I found the charges (some of which may not apply) here that could be referenced:

I have done one for Travis County, but can make a series by zip code using the more detailed CAPCOG street network.  Is there a place on this forum they could be uploaded to?

Re: bike crashes map

The bike/ped crashes layer on CAMPO's web viewer has been updated to show incidents between 2011 and 2013.
