local traffic fatality -- motor vehicle kills pedestrian 6/1/08

Here is a report of another local traffic fatality:
"Pedestrian killed on FM 1626"
http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/ … _1626.html

It is specified as occurring in southern Travis County rather than in Austin or any other specific locality.

Please post further details as you find them.

Re: local traffic fatality -- motor vehicle kills pedestrian 6/1/08

I understand folks are just getting used to this new forum thingy....

I recommend keeping the *local* (central Texas) bicycle and pedestrian fatalities as separate posts, i.e., discuss only one local fatality incident in a given post.  I suggest this for the sake of keeping things more organized and easier to refer back to and post in the case of updates.

But, of course, that nearby Mexico story and its photo are worth posting (somewhere) on this forum.
