SUV hit-and-runs cyclist on Shoal Creek, driver spits on officer

Here's the article:  http://www.statesman.com/news/news/crim … cer/nXqTq/

I wonder whether he'll face a bigger penalty for spitting on the officer than for hitting the cyclist.

Also, a pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run driver on Lamar near Justin Lane:  http://www.statesman.com/news/news/crim … run/nXkH8/.
UPDATE:  An arrest has been made:  http://www.statesman.com/news/news/crim … run/nXm6n/
