Willow Tree Works - recycled/upcycled bicycle jewelry

Bicycles are in and of themselves extraordinary pieces of functional art. As an artist and cyclist, I realised that the many parts that make up a bicycle are themselves beautiful. This inspired me to combine the simple pieces that make up the form of the bicycle into new forms that could be worn as jewelry to reflect the beauty of the parts themselves removed from the context of the bicycle as a whole. Each unique piece is a reflection of form and movement inspired by aspects of the world around us.
