Coming soon to the Eastside: 7.3mi Southern Walnut Creek Trail/Bikeway

I recently came across the city's Bicycle Program Facebook page (a nice source for project updates and purty pictures: http://www.facebook.com/CityOfAustinBicycleProgram )
and it mentioned a project I hadn't heard about until now: the 7.3 mile Southern Walnut Creek Trail!  A 10' wide paved trail from near Airport/Springdale following Walnut Creek almost all the way up to 290.  It's on the opposite side of town from me but I can't wait to go try it out.
