The City of Austin, along with ROMA Design Group, will be hosting a series of public meetings to discuss urban rail proposals as part of the Downtown Austin Plan (DAP). According to this Fox7 broadcast news story, it looks like public input manifested as a demand for tracks outside the flow of traffic for the proposed Manor route. An alternate route along MLK is being proposed by some folks.
