APD gave me a Citation for: "NMV - Unsafe Turn Or Movement" after I was hit by a car from behind.
Ride to ER, long night there followed by weeks of soreness. Bicycle helmet functioned well as intended. Attorney Brad Houston was very generous with his time, he could not find an accident report filed.
I'm trying to choose: (1) "$135/Bicycle Safety Cousre[sic]/90days deferred" or, (2) going to trial.
"Appearance Docket" is 7/3/23, I'm interested in an informed opinion(s).

I run across stuff, also. Roadkill, damaged street signs I will see frequently.
I report them using the 311 app and have had good response. I use the photo feature.

I found a bike that bike has a sticker from Ozone Bikes. Is there anyone that would have a record so the bicycle owner could be contacted?
The ser. # is not listed on a stolen bike data base.

Rep. Hughes' amendment to Article 7
"Rep. Bryan Hughes is proposing an amendment today that could hobble Texas' ability to provide safe roads for bicycling for decades to come. The amendment would prevent any state or federal funds from being used to reduce excess motor vehicle lanes for use as bicycle lanes or bus lanes. If passed, no state or federal funds, even those given to local areas as grants, could ever be used in this manner."

The archaeologist reports:
"At that point I had been up for almost three days....
One of them heaved a brick through the back windshield."
Startling narrative marauding gangs of shrieking cyclists putting
a brick through his rear window panel. It is difficult
to actually put a brick through plate glass. The panel shatters
but to make a hole it needs to be pounded through. I'd like to see
the police report but it doesn't sound like the was one filed.
