Not a marked bike lane but it is COA bike route 434.  South bound Mopac bridge at Barton Creek.  The rain washes off most of the little stuff (when it rains?).  Problem is the big stuff.  Right now there is about 150 yards of shredded truck tire all over the shoulder.  Does make a nice obstacle course on the commute home...lol.

The Bicycle Program is working with the Bicycle Advisory Council and the Solid Waste Services Litter Abatement/Street Sweep Group to keep bicycle lanes free and clear of debris..

We would like to know what cyclists consider the "hotspots" for bike lane debris.

Can you all please send me a list of your top bicycle lanes with too much debris?

Thank you,

I take my folder in lots of places.  HEB, liquor store, optometrist office, patio restaurants, and of course work.  Just ride up to the door fold it and roll it under my desk.  Was one of the reasons I got a folder...  Oh and of course the LBS!

Started out on the list so getting it going on the forum also...

Question was posed concerning using GPS on a bike.  My choice is the Garmin 60CSx.  To get the full benefit you will need additional maps loaded etc. (more $$).  I use the solution for bike, car, and boat.  Additional info on the mounting etc. on the blog...
