Bicycle Austin forum

I commute from around Amherst and Adelphi (near Parmer and Mopac) to the Capital Complex and am checking to see if anyone else here might do the same. I've occasionally ridden to work from there, but it's been a while. I found a few different routes and it's a pretty nice ride. Given my apparent inability to work regular rides into my schedule, I'm planning on starting riding to work more regularly (maybe at least 2-3 times a week). I'm thinking that if I can join someone else on the morning commute I might actually do it. Anyone here ride from that part of town to the capital area and mind having a beginner join your morning commute? Thanks.
