BIKE: Navigating between RR620 and the Balcones Neighborhoods -pictures fixed

Good work Joel!

This is just the sort of thing that, if in the city limits,
the Austin bike program could get involved in -- and
probably wants to be involved in. Even if this barrier does
turn out to really be private property, getting a
transportation easment for bicycles/pedestrians to pass
through to create a secondary street connection thru the
Burbs is much cheaper and more effective than trying to put
bike lanes on a high volume road.

BTW: Travis county plats are available on-line at
http://www.traviscad.org/

Now, wouldn't it be nice if each of us could all go out and
identify one similar candidate for bike-friendly connections
across residental cul-de-sacs and dead ends? Sure it would.
