It might be worthwhile to go down to the courthouse, records div, and pull up the subdivision plats to see exactly who you're dealing with as far as who actually owns the dirt and if there are any easements or public right-of-ways going across it. i believe Canyon Creek is within the city limits, not sure about the Anderson Mill one possibly still operating under a MUD (aka crooks who are above the law). Since Anderson Mill was already there when canyon Creek was laid out, it's possible the CC developer had built in the option of the roads being eventually connected with easements and right-of-ways. The plats should tell you all that. I would be interested in hearing what you find out. Good luck
