BIKE: Some good news, finally, on the Big Stripe bike lane pr ojects

Colly, thanks for the update.  I will keep tabs on the progress of the
Metric Blvd striping, since I live near the street and cycle it on my work
commute.

On a side note, the city iinstalled a signal light at the intersection of
Metric and Scofield Lane, next to a middle school and near a large Randall's
supermarket strip center at Parmer Lane.   The light is installed, but
covered up at the moment.    I like to think that neighborhood complaints
drove the installation.  I'm hoping the light, combined with bike lane
striping,  makes Metric a safer street for pedestrians and cyclists.
