Possible, but very unlikely.  The city's transportation engineers 
steadfastly adhere to the mantra that all signalization and traffic 
signage decisions are driven by state warrants and have little or 
nothing to do with the opinions or requests of neighbors.  This is 
probably not entirely true, but this is what they say -- consistently 
and often.
