The best legal system that money can buy, especially in TX
I have been told that for any pic/video (home/auto/bike) to be valid in a TX court it needs to have a time/date stamp.
Long thread so am not sure if you take into account that electricity, for the most part, is produced by fossil fuels. The best I can remember is that the typical nat gas, oil, or coal fired power plant is roughly 33% efficient and during peak demands (usually a/c season) power plants actually use jet engines coupled to generators to fill the hole. Guess you can argue solar/wind/water but unless you are completely off the grid you could instead be selling it back to the power company thus reducing fossil fuel usage.
Speaking of road rage, beginning 1 Jan TX law will allow the open carry of handguns (if licensed). Has anyone considered carrying while out on the bike? Any thoughts/comments on the pro or cons or otherwise? I haven't really had any problems lately that I can remember but you never know. Hard to imagine throwing a beer can at someone who is obviosly packing heat.
Its called the best legal system that money can buy. And please don't call it a "Justice System".
Hopefully, the civil suit that should follow will leave this driver with nothing more than that box to live in.
I was in Round Rock the other day, believe it was the east side of 620/I35 frontage with the redlight cam looking north. The lite changed and the cars kept on coming- I didn't think that cam would ever stop flashing. That has got to be a real cashcow for the city of RR.
should be able to go to the courthouse and have the clerk actually pull the case file. There should also be scans of all docs that can be accessed from their public terminal. At least this is true on the civil side.
Marked/designated bike lane??
I go thru there almost daily. The locals probably complain about the 90+% of cars that don't come to a complete stop, especially when Jr is behind the wheel. APD routinely stake out that intersection. So where were they ambushing from-that big, shady oak on Cedar Crest? Keep an eye out at the Olsen/Spicewood interesection at the top of the hill as they occasionally hang out in the townhomes on the southside.
