Yeah, I guess a question about the helmet law is too much to expect.  
I'd still really hope to see whether a candidate thinks bike lanes 
should be for cars or bikes, though -- especially since candidates 
always seem more eager to agree to car-free bike lanes before elected 
if they're asked.  Once they're elected, if they haven't promised, then 
forget it.

In other news, I'm wondering if all the discussion about peak oil and 
the Texas road lobby are getting excessive.  I'm thinking of limiting 
such posts to once per week but I'd like to get the input of this list 
first.  Reply to me and NOT TO THE LIST to let me know whether you want 
to:

1. Keep everything the same.
2. Have a max of one post per person per week on peak oil, and one post 
per person per week on the Texas road lobby
3. Something else
