BIKE: Exchange with Goodman

Patrick suggested I share the Shoal Creek debacle page on BicycleAustin
with the city council, so I did. Here's Goodman's response, and my
reply.

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous.
First of all, my understanding is that the overwhelming majority of the
neighbors *supported* the parking ban, and having parking on only one
side of the street.
Second, of the few neighbors who didn't like that plan, since when does
some "stakeholder's" greed take precedence over my safety?
Third, the roadway was NOT designed for "all" interests, since cyclists
got screwed, royally, completely. That you think that this debacle
somehow benefits us is really, really sad.
