Yes. For instance, these examples of sneering were found on the
austin-bikes list over the last few days:

"Mike Dahmus shrieked:"

"then winds up with this impressive blast"

"Wow. Is everyone alright? My modem got a little warm toting all that
vituperation."

Obviously the unidentified individual who wrote those passages prefers
sneering to screaming and flaming. Others may prefer a different mix of
immature behavior, apparently. Fred, for instance, clearly prefers the
flaming.

For instance, another unidentified individual just posted a personal
email to the public forum without either asking permission or making it
clear in advance that they would do so.

Folks, listen to me well:

I have no problem responding with personal attacks when I have, in fact,
been personally attacked. Whether the initiator is Roger (by ascribing
devious motivations to me that he knows are a lie), or Mike Librik
deciding to pile on to defend him, I don't care. Asking me at that point
to remain genteel and above the fray is not going to help you - because
I'm making a conscious decision to fight fire with fire. Mama didn't
raise no sucker here.

Regards,
MD
