UT's solution would be that you head over to Duval and then go through
campus on San Jacinto.

Howdy neighbor.

I also live near N. Loop and Burnet. The route that I take to the Capitol
is -

- South on Shoal Creek to 41st (the top of the hill), turn left (east)
- 41st to Burnet (here it is residential), turn right
- South on Burnet to 40th
- Left (east) on 40th to Central Market (crossing the landscaping or the gas
station parking lot)
- Turn right (south) and go through the parking lot and past the Heart
Hospital to the light at 38th and West. Then south on West.
- Left (east) on 34th.
- Cross Guadalupe and right (south) on Hemphill Park
- Left (east) on 30th
- Right (southeast) on San Jacinto and through UT to the Capitol.

You could also take either the Shoal Creek Trail or Medical Parkway to 34th,
but that would add a hill and more traffic.

If you start east of Burnet, you could pick up this route by taking Woodrow
to 49th, cross Burnet at the light heading west, turn left on Woodview,
taking it to Shoal Creek.
