Monorail Malaysia and the contractual operator CLAIMED it was "sabotage",
but I have never heard of a court or other official juridical ruling that
such was indeed the case. Furthermore, the monorail vendor and operator
never, to my knowledge, actually owned up to their responsibility for the
accident, attempting during the trial to blame the victim because he was
allegedly "jaywalking" beneath the monorail structure! In the end, I
believe, the court ruled on behalf of the plaintiff.
