BIKE: Today's AAS Rant

The latest thing the AAS has done to piss me off:

A friend told me that there was a story in today's AAS (3/13) about the 29 
year old white woman in the red beemer that was killed near the intersection 
of 620 and 2222 yesterday afternoon. Evidently, the paper even bothered to 
find out that she was talking on her cell phone as she lost control of her 
vehicle.

Then, contrast that with the coverage given to the guy who several weeks ago 
was hit by a truck trying to cross I-35. Never did find out much about him. 
Never did find out why he and others like him risk crossing the highway. 
Never any attention paid to that. Guess he was just some poor, crazy 
minority, oh well....
