BIKE: CAMPO Meeting Tonight

The CAMPO toll-road vote meeting is tonight.  Does anyone know if 
they're still letting people speak on this issue, or is it a vote only 
affair?

I sent an email to the CAMPO board pointing out that the toll-road 
proposal is completely incompatible with the Envision Central Texas 
findings (i.e. that a vast majority of respondents want denser urban 
centers combined with no more sprawl 'tal).  I'm presuming that other 
people made this observation, too?  I've learned that the average 
politician will remember something (actual thinking would be a bit too 
much to ask, of course) if it's repeated to them 500 times by ordinary 
constituents or twice by major campaign contributors.  So if 499 of the 
other 15,000 people who sent an email to the CAMPO board regarding this 
issue also pointed out the stark incompatibility with ECT, it might 
actually make its way into the discussion tonight.
