BIKE: Speaking of Bikes:

If anyone is in the market for new low-end kid's bikes, Walmart is having a deep discount sale on kid's bikes right now.  These are 20" bikes, some BMX style, and some smaller ones with training wheels.  Yeah, they're Huffy and Edge-something, I recall, but discounted from $70 to prices like $27 and $30, some might find this worth a look.

Please, no flames about the 'quality' of cheapo dept store bikes... just passing along the info.


Another topic, on possibly the most unusual use for a bicycle.

BRUSSELS, Belgium (Reuters) -- Belgian police have caught two rabbit poachers whose armor-plated getaway car was equipped with so many gadgets it would not have been out of place in a James Bond film. /snip/ 

Amoung other anti-persuit devices in their car... There was also a device to eject two old bicycles fixed on the back of the car on to the road as an obstacle to any vehicle in hot pursuit.
