BIKE: coupla observations

1) on the whole Lance v Bush thing, has anyone else noticed that Kerry is
wearing a Livestrong wristband and Bush isn't?

2) any thoughts that while crude oil prices have hit record highs recently,
retail gasoline prices have been remarkably stable, and even under their
recent highs?  Roger, any insights?
