Here lies the body of William Jay...

This is an old, famous poem, which maybe everyone knows, but I was only recently made aware of it.  It apparently dates back to circa 1918.

Here lies the body of William Jay,
who died maintaining his right of way.
He was right as he sped along—
but he's just as dead as if he'd been wrong.
