I see very few transportation-related positions mentioned by candidates in the current primary races. (I mean, without digging deep into their websites; it's not front-and-center.) But today I noticed an ad by Paul Quinzi calling for an end to arresting first-time offenders for driving while license is invalid (DWLI).
Full disclosure: Twenty years ago I was arrested for driving without a license. Long story, but I shouldn't have been driving, and I don't protest the fact that I was arrested.
