...for the new bike lane striping on Anderson Mill? It's a least a foot wider than it was before, feels much more comfortable with the extra space. The road maintenance was a bit painful the last month, with piles of chip-seal to navigate, but the end result is a big improvement. I commute daily on Anderson Mill, and would like to know who is responsible for giving me a bit more breathing room. Thanks.

You can also thank your Bicycle Program Designers, Neil Kopper, Nathan Wilkes, and Aleksiina Chapman. I'll be forwarding your regards to them today.
Thank you for sharing. It is always nice to hear someone appreciate the work we do.
And of course, thank you for riding your bicycle!

Thanks for planning, implementing, and continuing bicycle facilities in austin.
Thanks for using them, and then posting your gratitude.
Increases the public awareness of cyclists and helps to make bicycling austin safer for all of us.
And maybe contagious, as others see you, and then maybe use Anderson Mill and other roads in the area, themselves, for biking.....
And then, even when they are driving, they might have a perspective, and empathy, for other modes of transportation and/or people using our streets.......

I rode Anderson Mill last week and it is definitely more comfortable with the wider bike lane. Good job!
